Time flies when you are the luckiest Mom in the world.

Leo has been talking for a few months now, but his vocabulary has exploded in the last few weeks. There is nothing he can't ask for and Amelia and he have very in-depth conversations about what show they would both like to watch or what they want to eat. This week, Leo started saying his name...first it was just "O" and now it is "E-O". When he told me his name today, I almost cried because when Leo was first born, Amelia was the one who called him "E-O". She has since learned to say her "L" and Leo can even say a fairly good "A-i-ya" when he wants to know where his big sis ran off to. The days are long and I would love to have just one morning where I can wake up on my own, but I would never give up all of the wonder and amazement that I get to experience with my kids. I love them more than I could ever explain, but I don't think I will ever have to. I think they have figured it out ;)

Flying high with Zadie

Zadie took Amelia to lunch today and when she got home she was telling us how she loved that she could "touch the sky" in Zadie's car. Leo thought this was a great idea and told us that *he* wanted to touch the ceiling! Good thing Zadie was around! I hope Zadie has Advil at home...

We begin and end the day together...

After our very long day of parties, Bubbie and Zadie brought over Noah and Ari to watch Amelia open her birthday presents. What can I say? Everything is more fun when everyone is there.
---
Noah and Ari are going to take Amelia to see the play "Frog and Toad" in a couple of weeks. They gave her the CD to listen to in preparation.

This will probably end up on someone's phone later today...

Atleast once an hour, usually more like every few minutes, Leo announces that it's time for a hug - "huuuuuuuuuuh" - and I haven't refused one yet.

Bubbie thought it was time for another picture of all 4 of them (click on August '06 for the last version).

How many hours till bedtime? (My bedtime, I mean)

This morning, bright and early, Amelia's friends came by for a breakfast birthday party in their pj's. I would go into more detail, but I am too exhausted to type...now, we start counting down till next year ;)

Amelia setting up for all the wet boots that were about to arrive...

Pancake time!

Making fruit loop necklaces...yummy!

Pretty placemats...

Time for cupcakes...pink and red sprinkled cupcakes, of course....

I heard they tasted pretty good, too! (Thanks, Bubbie!)

What they do best...:)

No time to rest before going to Tamara's gymnastics party...

These kids love to JUMP!

Amelia was right at home on the bar...

Leo was so funny, he just kept swinging and wouldn't let go. Luba, the teacher, had to assist.

Amelia had some tricks up her sleeve that I was not aware of!

On Leo's second attempt, he figured out how to let go.

Right into the pit!

Leo enjoying himself...

Almost time for cake...

More cake!! and, it was good ;)

The end ;)
