Everyone Smile!

As seen in a previous post, Becca did a Mother's Day brunch for everyone and I was going to do a BBQ on Father's Day - this had been planned for months. What noone planned, however, was that Bubbie and Zadie would be home, in bed, sick with some sort of flu/sinus infection. The rest of us also have colds, Gary currently feeling the worst. Since I had defrosted 3 lbs of ground beef, I was *going* to BBQ hamburgers and throw whatever else I had in the house on the table. I decided to get a new pool for the kids today and it was definitely a hit - with all four kids. Gary came late and left early, the kids were crazy as usual (whose idea was it to throw all the dry clothes and towels into the pool??), but we were together and that is what's important.

Of course, we really can't stay away from each other...
For Father's Day, I got an email from Noodle's N Company for a free Father's Day meal and since we used the coupon they sent for Mother's Day, I felt obligated to take Danny today. As we were running our separate errands, I called Danny and asked if he wanted to meet. About an hour later, with Leo ready to fall asleep and burning up from the heat outside, we met Danny at Noodles around 1:00pm. I knew it wouldn't be crowded because who eats lunch at 1:00pm? Apparently, Tante and her family does because they pulled into the parking lot right after us! It was a good thing because the kids all shared their meals and had a fun suprise.

Back to the BBQ. By the time I finally got up the energy to get the camera from inside, I lost Leo from the pool shot, but told the others to "SMILE for Bubbie and Zadie!!". This is what I got.
