Sometimes, things just work out...
I really needed a haircut and since it is Amelia's birthday tomorrow and we are going to be taking alot of pictures, I wanted to get her a haircut as well. The lady who cut Leo's hair was only going to be there until 5pm, so despite the fog and rain and pure yuckiness outside, we ran out and kept our fingers crossed.
Amelia and I sat next to each other, each getting our haircut and each sitting like really mature young ladies. Every so often, Amelia's stylist would ask me to see if it was OK, but other than that, Amelia was on her own and loving every minute of it.
Leo was having his run of the place, pacing back and forth with his lollypop and just having a grand old time. Of course, that was once he was convinced that he would NOT be getting a haircut. We had some tears and protest and he wouldn't even come close to me or the stylists. Leo got over it and had a great time and was so proud of himself, as were Amelia and I.
While I was trying to get a nice picture of me and Amelia, Leo was insistant on putting one of these trashcans on my head. I have gotten pretty good at finding something more interesting for him to focus on, so when I suggested that he "hide" one of his CareBears, Leo was immediately on a mission. When I came out of the room, he had both of his CareBears in trashcans, but he was looking for one for Perry. Noone misses out in this house so I found a trashcan and emptied it for Perry to hide in. Everyone was happy, atleast Leo thought they were :)
