Our most exhausting trip to the Kohl Museum (yet...)

First, let me aplogize to everyone at the Walmart in Wheeling, IL. It is safe to say that we will not be revisiting that store anytime soon...

Several weeks ago, we got our newsletter from the Kohl Museum, advertising this wonderful "Members Only Open House!!" to meet Clifford and see the new exhibition. I was excited for Amelia that Danny would be able to meet us there. At the time, 5:30pm did not seem like an insanely late time to be out of the house. But, then again, several weeks ago, it wasn't 2F outside. It seems like everything changes when you can't leave the house when you want, to run normal errands with your kids or do whatever.

In the end, we made it to the Kohl Museum and everyone had recovered from the adventures we had on the way. Well, everyone, but the customers at Walmart...




After the museum, we went to Sweet Tomatoes. I dont really remember dinner so much, and probably not the only one...we were all pretty exhausted. Next time, I will stick to my 9:00am arrival at the museum and lunch, rather than dinner, with the kids.
