This Week...

Monday night we met Danny at Build A Bear because Amelia was such a good sleeper and good girl during our time in Montreal. It was our first visit there (really!) and I think Amelia really enjoyed the experience. I was hoping we could find a love for Leo (short story: he sleeps with the tiniest of dollies that I can never locate), but he just wanted to run around. Maybe when he gets older, but of course by then he will be able to tell me where the heck Perry is!

My parents live down the street from a gorgeous forest preserve/lake/park/bike track, etc. and this is only the second time we have ever been there. I met some friends at the park and Becca, Ari and Bubbie did the walking trail and met us afterward. The expression on her face is pure "Amelia" and I love it.

Yesterday, Amelia and I unearthed my Holiday box and came across this costume I bought for her last year (when they were 90% off!). Good thing we have the same taste. She did want to be sure that "no boobies" showed so we will have to do some alterations before trick or treating at the mall.

I took this video today, around 5:00pm. Amelia was eating her favorite, "corned beef sandwich with mayonaisse, on challah, CLOSED" and Leo was bopping around, coming back every so often for his vanilla pudding. Leo would go on these jumping sprees, but everytime I took the camera out, he would scream and shake his head "NO". I watched this video back and all I could think was, "this is my life". Clothes on the floor, Amelia chilling and goofing with Leo and me sitting and enjoying being with them. That's what it's all about for me...I can do the dishes later (or once I finish this blog, of course!)

For the past couple of nights, Leo has been crawling into Amelia's bed and it could not be cuter. Tonight, Danny attempted to sneak in as well :)
